Crazy time
I’ve been firing a kiln off every second or third day, and getting other things ready for the studio sale. Just crazy, as that means I get almost no home time, which means no computer time. So, there are pictures of pots, of tools, of stuff, but it will have to wait until after next weekend, when I get some time.
Hope you are all doing well out there. Potters, may your kilns be full and the sales plentiful. Everyone else, I hope that your holidays went well.
Later,
Richard

I made your\”Mikhail Zakin’s Demarest recipe)\” and we really enjoyed it. I think I made too much–used 2 butternut squash–and they must have been large! So it lasted for several days. But we found that it was much nicer after the first day. Not that it was not nice on the first day–it was–but exceptionally nice after that! AND I discovered that a spoonful of my cranberry sauce in the middle of the bowl looked beautiful and was the perfect accent for the soup! Thanks for sharing the recipe! Gay

Gay,
Well, I’m a soup guy…having a good one around for a few days works for me! A salad and some bread, who could ask for more? Glad you liked it, and the idea of the cranberry in the middle is a good one…I saw a curried squash soup with cranberry couli in a cooking magazine last month. OK, gotta run, just back for a bite of dinner as the kiln is blowing off water from the single-fired pots. Thanks for stopping by!
